Timing is Everything vs. Love conquers all

I have heard it said that "Timing is everything". I don't know that to be true. This year Bob and I were to have taken a wonderful road trip through the South to South Carolina to meet some of my distant cousins and see some wonderful family history sites. Four days before we were to have left Bob was taken to the hospital with pneumonia and neurological symtoms that we feared was a stroke. He ended up afews days later having a six and a half hour surgery for colon cancer. He came home eleven days after entering the hospital, and fortunmately has had a remarkable recovery. I had the privalege of staying with him and helping with his care. And no, it was definately not as much fun as a road trip(especially for Bob), it was satisfying to know that I could be of help to my companion of 45 years. timing horrible, but Love conquers all. Last Saturday was our youngest son, John Tyson's wedding. As the groom's parents our largest part was to put on a luncheon for the wedding ceremony guests, about 100 people. Well 3 days before the wedding I ended up in the hospital with a kidney stone too large to pass without a proceedure.. I had the proceedure the next day and went home that evening. And, full of pain medication felt up to anything life could hand me. All I can say is that without the help of my family, there would have been no luncheon. My daughters and my sons and all of their beloveds came together to get everything together. And I am so THANKFUL to you all. Every last teenie weenie one of you were and are Fabulous and Wonderful to have helped so much. Thank you!, Thank ~! Thank you! Everything at the wedding was wonderful from the decorations, to the food, to Shanda's Dad singing for her, to the kids doing the worm, to seeing old friends, to the magician who entertained the children, to the jazz band from Hamilton high . Just sorry that I was only half there. Again timing was bad but Love Conquers all!

This is a different tag, so here are the rules: A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.B. Each player lists 6 little-known facts/habits about themselves. C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
